After years of finding great enjoyment in seeing the pleasure friends and family felt as they ate her cakes, Mary Jane embarked on a journey of research that enabled her to incorporate her love of making delicious cakes with her love of artistic endeavors.

Following much exploration into the world of cake-making, plus a winter and spring of sugar-art training, "Eat the Cake First" was born.
